Whether you’re a local visiting our rink weekly for hockey practice and games or a visitor who has never been on the ice before, we are dedicated to providing the best recreational experience for every patron.

Stowe Recreation Path

The Stowe Recreation Path is an internationally recognized greenway stretching from Stowe Village to Top Notch Resort on the Mountain Road. Residents and guests alike enjoy the 5.3 mile paved trail as it meanders along the West Branch of Little River. Breath-taking mountain views and access to restaurants, lodges and local businesses make the bike path one of the most popular recreation assets in Stowe.

Field & Facility Rentals

Stowe Parks & Recreation manages multiple spaces, including indoor or events fields, available for a wide range of private events. From birthday parties to corporate meetings, the Stowe Parks & Recreation Department may have a space that suited to your needs!

Bunny Libby Scholarship Fund

The Bunny Libby Scholarship Fund helps income eligible Stowe residents participate in recreation programs and community activities. Scholarships are awarded to Stowe residents on a first-come, first-serve basis for youth and adult programs in accordance with program availability, participant eligibility and available funds.

To apply, a Scholarship Application must be submitted for each participant and each program prior to the program registration deadline. Applications can be emailed to recreation@stowevt.gov or sent to: Stowe Parks & Recreation, PO Box 730, Stowe VT 05672.
