American Heart Association Heartsaver® First Aid with CPR/AED Online is a self-directed course that uses interactive lessons and videos to teach you CPR/AED for adults and First Aid, including relief from choking, seizures, heart attack, diabetic emergencies, allergic reactions, EpiPen use, burns, bites, poisoning, broken bones, bleeding control, bandaging, glove removal, temperature related emergencies, and how to aid with other life threatening conditions. An in-person practice and skill check session must also be completed with VT SafetyNet to receive certification. This course is for new or renewing/recertifying students. Provide a copy of your online certificate and successfully complete a hands-on skills practice and assessment session within 60 days.
